Hello to my wonderful readers!
These past few weeks have been truly exciting, lots has happened and I'm even more excited for what's to come! My semester is almost finished in a couple of weeks and I couldn't be happier!
The weather in Chicago is finally resembling Spring, although we did get that random "snow day" sometime last week. This post isn't truly focused on one thing, it's merely a glimpse of my journey a few days ago up until today.
Some things I have been working on- finished some shorts, a dress, and part of a jacket. Oh yeah, and Finals, Finals, FINALS ):
Just get me tea stuff for my birthday & I'll be a happy camper.
My comfy Friday Afternoon outfit: A baggy grey knit, topped with a green cardigan (I stole from my friend who got it for 50cents thrifting, 50cents!), ripped blue jeans, grey oxfords, and my white leather Fossil bag.
Finally, Here are the pictures from today. A lovely day spent with friends in fellowship and fun around the city. Walks next to the lake, Magnificent Mile, and a final stop at "the beach".
A little treat to fill you with joy, a little something I wrote...
"Count your blessings,
Cherish the beauty of creation all around you.
The Creator displays it as a painting, a sculpture, a glimpse of His beauty,
Of His love for you. We are all pigments of a giant masterpiece kept within a picture frame of grace. All it takes is for us to embrace it. Not work for it, simply embrace it.
Life is beautiful. "
Hope everyone has a wonderful week/end !
